Help I haven't a clue about how to get my business onto the internet!

How does my website get onto the internet?

In a nutshell website optimisation involves designing the website content in such a way that it gets good rankings in the major search engines. As different search engines rank websites using different criteria it is impossible to guarentee top rankings in all search engines but by designing your content well, using meta tags and using a few tricks of the trade we can certainly help your customers find your page.

Recreative does not provide domain names and web hosting itself but our experience will allow us to set you up with all you need from a reputable and reliable company.

Can I have animations on my website?
Yes you certainly can. We can place Flash animations or animated gifs onto your site and even make animated buttons or sections which animate in response to your customers clicks. You can add movies and sound to your site too but you must be aware
of your website's download time. Too many large images and animations can mean your site takes so long to download that customers give up and move on. We provide advice on what is too much.

I want a website I can update easily myself, is that possible?
To a certain extent yes. We can build you a web site which is database driven. All you need to do is upload content to your database and it will appear on your site, we can even build you an interface so that you can alter the colours and fonts on your site and change its look and feel whenever you wish.
